| This center under construction will include a Neiman Marcus and Macy's, as well as many, yet to be disclosed new to Austin, high-end retailers. It will also include office and residential. Set to open March 2007. |

A few more retailers have been announced...
In other retail news, Barney's New York confirms that it will open one of its Co-Op stores at the Domain, the upscale shopping-residential center that opens in March in North Austin.
The fashion retailer is known for sophisticated, modern clothes. Its 11 Co-Op outlets sell edgy clothes and accessories for men and women.
More first-for-Austin names are headed for the Domain: BCBG Max Azria, Calypso Christiane Celle and Louis Vuitton, the upscale French fashion retailer.
The Max Azria stores sell contemporary women's apparel, shoes and accessories under the company's 15 brands.
The 26 Christiane Celle boutiques sell clothing, accessories and home furnishings under the Calypso label, plus imported brands from India, Morocco and other countries.
Simon Property Group, the developer of the Domain with local partner Endeavor Real Estate Group, has targeted A-list retailers, most of them new to Central Texas, for the center, which will be anchored by Neiman Marcus and Macy's.
The center is being built at North MoPac Boulevard (Loop 1) and Braker Lane.

Barney is opening a Co-Op in the Houston galleria. Don't know why it is not a flagship one, like the one in Dallas.

Tiffany & Co. confirms Austin store
Austin Business Journal - 2:39 PM CDT Thursday
Tiffany & Co. confirms it's coming to Austin.
The acclaimed New York jeweler says it will open a 5,100-square-foot store at The Domain in March 2007.
Tiffany says the new Austin store will offer its own signature collections as well as lines from designers like Jean Schlumberger, Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso.
"Austin is a dynamic and growing city with many cultural and educational institutions, and is an important business center, as well," says Beth Canavan, executive vice president of Tiffany. "The Domain is ideally located and has an inviting, open-air environment."
